In loving memory of our Dad Keith 

Keith’s funeral service is at The Abbey Centre Chapel, on Wednesday 7th April 2021 at 11:45 am. The service will be conducted by our family friend Ted Hale. Unfortunately, the service is by invitation only, due to current Government Covid-19 restrictions. Sadly, we are allowed only a maximum of 30 mourners to attend, and it is illegal to go over this number.  We therefore ask you only attend the service, if you have made prior arrangements to attend with Keith’s daughter Rachel. We respectfully ask that you do not bring another person with you, unless this has also been arranged with Rachel. We truly wish we did not have to be so prescriptive!

Coronavirus considerations

Hand sanitiser is available on entry to the chapel.

Please ensure face masks (not visors), are worn at all times. Social distancing applies throughout the proceedings, and we kindly ask on behalf of the chapel, that guests attending the service, leave promptly at the end of the service. This is also in  accordance with the guidelines currently in place.

We are sadly not permitted to sing during the service, although we are lucky to have the talented Anita Hale to sing on our behalf. The lyrics of the hymns in the service, are printed in the Order Of Service, to allow you to reflect as the songs are heard. 

Other funeral information

In terms of clothing, please feel free to wear any style and colour, including bright colours if you wish. Keith /Dad loved colour so this is encouraged. It is not a requirement to wear black.

We ask that flowers are from immediate family only. If you would like to donate to our chosen charity instead, please see the details below. 

For your information, there is free parking at The Abbey Centre Chapel.

A private committal will take place afterwards, at The  Counties Crematorium. This will be attended by Keith’s wife Beth, their three children (Alison, Rachel, Mark and partners), and Keith's brother Graham and wife Jill. 

Sadly, due to the current restrictions we are only allowed a maximum of 6 people at a wake, therefore unfortunately we are unable to invite you to refreshments afterwards.
